L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-26022024-252378 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 855] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2024/PHALGUNA 7, 1945 MINISTRY OF HEAVY INDUSTRIES ORDER New Delhi, the 26th February, 2024 S.O. 895(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16, read with section 17 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Automobile Wheel Rim Component (Quality Control) Amendment Order-II, 2023, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. - 1. This Order may be called the Automobile Wheel Rim Component (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024. 2. It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Automobile Wheel Rim Component (Quality Control) Amendment Order-II, 2023 dated 19th December 2023, in paragraph 2, sub-paragraphs (ii) of Paragraph (3) shall be substituted as follows:- ii. Automobile wheel rims used in the vehicles imported in India by vehicle manufacturer under the provisions of Rule 126 of Central Motor Vehicle rules, 1989. [F.
