L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-WB-E-27062024-254987 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2351] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2024/ASHADHA 6, 1946 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South Eastern Railway) (CONSTRUCTION ORGANIZATION) NOTIFICATION Kolkata, the 25th June, 2024 S.O. 2472(E). — In exercise of Power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989, Chapter-IVA (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the schedule below, is required for execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Projects namely “Bondamunda (Dumetra)- Ranchi(Hatia) doubling (158.50Km.)" in the district of Sundargarh in the state of Odisha, hereby declares its intension to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of the notification in the official Gazette, object, under sub-section (1) of the section 20D of the said Act to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose. Every such objection shall be made to the component authority, viz. Land Acquisition Officer, Collectorate, Sundargarh at office of the Collector & District Magistrate (Land Acquisition Section), Dist.-Sundargarh, Odisha, Pincode-770001 in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the component authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Component Authority under Sub-Section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall be final. The land plans & the other details of the land covered under notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the component Authority.
