The Ministry of Railways (Western Railway (Construction Organization)) issued Notification G.S.R. 786(E) on 17th August, 2026, published in the Gazette of India on 8th September, 2026. In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), as amended by the Railway Amendment Act 2008, the Central Government declared its intention to acquire land for the public purpose of executing the Special Railway Project, namely, the "Vadodara - Ratlam 3rd and 4th line (258.94 Km) Project of Ratlam Division on Western Railway". The land is located in Taluka Dahod, District Dahod, in the State of Gujarat. Any person interested in the said land may raise an objection to its acquisition and use within thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, as per sub-section (I) of section 20D of the Railways Act, 1989. Objections must be made in writing to the competent authority, the Deputy Collector and Prant Officer Dahod, Taluka Dahod, District Dahod (GUJARAT), stating the grounds. The competent authority will provide an opportunity for a hearing and its order on the objections will be final under sub-section (2) of section 20(D) of the Act. Land plans and other details are available for inspection at the competent authority's office. The schedule annexed details land to be acquired across villages Mandavav (8.6638 Hectare), Dhamarda (total of 1.749 Hectare), Kotda Buzarg (5.8958 Hectare), Bordi Inami (5.1397 Hectare), Bordi khurd (1.3056 Hectare), Tanachhiya (11.9012 Hectare), Himala (1.1785 Hectare), Rachharda (1.1222 Hectare), Undar (2.0567 Hectare), and Kheng (10.6752 Hectare) in District Dahod, Taluka Dahod.

NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 17th August, 2026

G.S.R. 786(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(I) of section 20A of the Railways Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred in as the said the Railway Amendment Act 2008), the Central Government
after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the schedule
annexed hereto, is required for execution of the Special Railway Project, namely, “Vadodara - Ratlam 3rd and
4th line (258.94 Km) Project of Ratlam Division on Western Railway”in Taluka Dahod, District-DAHOD in the
State of Gujarat, hereby declares its intention to acquired such land :

Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose
under sub-section(I) of section 20D of the said Act:

Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely, Deputy Collector and Prant
Officer Dahod, Taluka Dahod, District Dahod (GUJARAT), in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof, and
the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner
and may,after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the competent authority
thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.

Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be
final.
The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected
by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.
