L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-UP-E-12072024-255361 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2574] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2024/ASHADHA 20, 1946 4157 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Central Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Prayagraj, the 15th June, 2024 S.O. 2710(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) ofSection 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (Hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose the land situated at District Bulandshahar of the state of Uttar Pradesh, the brief description of which has given in the Schedule annexed hereto isrequired for the purpose of execution of the North Central Railway Special Railway project, namely Raising of Speed to 160kmph/200kmph on existing New Delhi- Howrah route (incl. Kanpur-Lucknow) in the district of Bulandshahar in the State of Uttar Pradesh, for Sub Sectioning and Paralleling Post hereby declares itsintention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within thirty days from thedate of publication of this notification in the official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisitionand use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub- section (1) of Section 20D of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority namely, Additional District Magistrate (Administrative) Distt. Bulandshahar Uttar Pradesh in writing and shallset out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector anopportunity of being heard either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the Competent Authority thinks necessary by order either allow or disallow the objections. Any order by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of Section 20D of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and other details of the land covered under thisnotification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent Authority.
