                Detailed Summary
            

            
Under S.O. 5046(E) dated 6th November 2025, issued by the Ministry of Railways (East Coast Railway, Construction), the Central Government exercises powers under Clause (37A) of Section-2 of the Railways Act, 1989, to notify twelve railway construction projects in Odisha as Special Railway Projects, effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The projects are all construction of road over bridges (ROBs) in place of level crossings across the Khurda Road, Sambalpur and Waltair Divisions of East Coast Railway, including ROBs in lieu of L.C.No.191 at Km 443/3-5 between Bhubaneswar and Retang stations, L.C.No.CP-41 at Km 467/28-30 between Gorakhnath and Rahama stations, L.C.No.CP-42 at Km 469/19-21 near Rahama Yard, L.C.No.CP-55 at Km 491/17-19 between Badabandha Road and Paradeep stations, L.C.No.CT-40 and L.C.No.CT-44 near Dhenkanal-Sadashibapur, L.C.No.ST-105 near Angul-Talcher Road, L.C.No.RV-107 near Lakhna-Harishanker Road, L.C.No.JT-31 near Godbhaga-Attabira, L.C.No.RV-229 near Muniguda-Bissamcuttack, L.C.No.RV-252 near Rayagada-Ladda, and L.C.No.CT-63 near Hindol Road-Meramandali. NOTIFICATION
Bhubaneswar, the 6th November, 2025
S.O. 5046(E).—In exercise of the powers, conferred by Clause (37A) of Section-2 of the Railways Act,
1989, the Central Government hereby notifies the following project as Special Railway Project as mentioned in
column (2) of the table below in the State mentioned in column (3) of the Table, with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in Official Gazette.
