CORRIGENDUM
(IN REGARD TO E-GAZETTE NOTIFICATION NO.2970 DATED 08 JULY 2025, THE PARA
MENTIONED BELOW SHOULD BE TREATED AS CORRECTED DETAILS IN PREVIOUS
NOTIFICATION)
Mumbai, the 7th August, 2025
Under clause 20E of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008
S.O. 3650(E).–Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board), number, S.O 1740 (E) dated 08th April 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3
Sub-section (ii), dated the 18th April 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification ) and issued under sub-
section (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in
the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of
Special Railway Project, namely Proposed Construction of ROB & RUB (10 Nos.) in lieu of Level Crossing Gates
between Igatpuri-Manmad & Bhusawal-Badnera Section of Bhusawal Division”in the district of Nashik in the
State of Maharashtra.
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in for Sub-Divisional Officer, Niphad in
daily newspapers namely “Dainik Maharashtra Times” & “Dainik Lokmat Times” Dated 17-09-2024 under sub
section (4) of section 20A of the said Act;
And whereas, objections were received. Competent Authority has heard the objections and orders have been
passed in terms of Section D of the said act;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in
the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed
hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.

Brief description of the land to be acquired, with or without structures, falling within the Special Railway Project of
Proposed Construction of ROB & RUB (10 Nos.) in lieu of Level Crossing Gates between Igatpuri-Manmad &
Bhusawal-Badnera Section of Bhusawal Division in the District Nashik in the State of Maharashtra.
