No. 13(479)/UD/LB -I/Duty on Transfer/2023/CD: 021726408/ 249.—The following is published for general information and necessary action: - MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF DELHI (Assessment and Collection Department ) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 6th July, 2023 No. A&C(HQ)/TD/2023 -24/1464 .—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 147(2)(b) of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi hereby increases the rate of Transfer Duty from 2% to 3% in case of female (including third gender) and from 3% to 4% in case of male & others (i.e. any other entity) with effect from the date of publication of this Notification. This enhancement is applicable for registration of instruments having the amount more than Rs.25 lakhs but there is n o change in the Transfer Duty on instruments having registration amount upto Rs 25 lakhs KUNAL KASHYAP, IRS , Assessor & Collector, MCD By Order , K.
