                Detailed Summary
            

            
By S.O. 4865(E) dated 7th November 2024, issued under sub-section (1) of section 20E of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11th of 2008), the Central Government, acting through North Central Railway (Gati Shakti Unit), declares that the land specified in the annexed Schedule is acquired for the Special Railway Project 'Prayagraj-Kanpur Central-Construction of 02 Lane ROB at km 838/7-9 in lieu of level crossing no. 4 between Bamrauli-Manauri Stations' in Sadar Tehsil, Prayagraj District, Uttar Pradesh, and that on publication the land vests absolutely in the Central Government free of all encumbrances, under sub-section (2) of section 20E. This follows the preliminary declaration of intent issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A vide S.O. 3585(E) dated 21 August 2024 (Notification No. 3269, dated 22 August 2024), whose substance was published in Amar Ujala, Prayagraj and Hindustan Times, Lucknow, on 25 August 2024. Six objections were received and considered by the competent authority, after which the competent authority submitted its report to the Central Government. The annexed Schedule lists affected khasra plots and landowners in the villages of Ibrahimpur Bamhrauli (total 0.1121 hectares/1121 sq.m) and Mandar Deh Mafi (total 0.0782 hectares/782 sq.m) in Sadar Tehsil, for a grand total of 0.1903 hectares (1903 sq.m) of private agricultural land. The notification is signed by J.C. NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 7th November, 2024
S.O. 4865(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the ministry of Railways (North
Central Railway, Gati Shakti Unit), Notification Number, S.O. 3585(E), dated the 21 August 2024 published in Gazette
of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), Notification Number 3269, dated the 22 August 2024
(hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railways
(Amendment) Act, 2008 (11th of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its
intention to acquire the Land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution,
maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project namely “Prayagraj-Kanpur Central-
Construction of 02 Lane ROB at km: 838/7-9 in lieu of level crossing no. 4 between Bamrauli – Manauri
Stations” in the District of Prayagraj in the State of Uttar Pradesh;
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely,
“Amar Ujala, Prayagraj & Hindustan Times, Lucknow” dated 25 August 2024 under sub-section (4) of
section 20A of the said Act;
And whereas, Six nos. of objection was received and the same has been considered by the Competent
authority accordingly order has been passed.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent Authority
has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the
powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares
that the lands specified in the schedule annexed here to shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the
schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
