                Detailed Summary
            

            
Issued as S.O. 4053(E) dated 21st August 2025 by the North Central Railway (Construction Department), Ministry of Railways, at Prayagraj, this notification amends the Schedule annexed to the earlier 20E notification No. 3389(A), Gazette ID CG-UP-E-28072025-265021, dated 24th July 2025, made under sub-section (1) of Section 20A and Section 20E of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008), concerning acquisition of land for the 'Agra Fort–Bandikui Doubling Project' in District Alwar, Rajasthan. It recites that the intention to acquire was earlier published in 'Dainik Bhaskar' and 'Rajasthan Patrika' on 6th April 2025 under Section 20A(4), that objections were received from five villages and disposed of by the competent authority, and that the competent authority submitted its Section 20E report. The Central Government again declares the land in the corrected Schedule acquired for the project and, on publication of this notification, vested absolutely in the Central Government free of all encumbrances. The corrected Schedule lists private agricultural land parcels (plot numbers, area in hectares, and owner/beneficiary names, including bank-mortgage details) in villages Ladiya, Pragpura and Akoda Mina under Tehsil Raini, District Alwar, Rajasthan.

NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 21st August, 2025
CORRIGENDUM
S.O. 4053(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub – section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) & Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the
Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose the land the brief description of which has been
given in schedule annexed hereto, is required for purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of
the Special Railway Project namely, ” Agra Fort-Bandikui Doubling Project” in District Alwar in the state of
Rajasthan hereby declares its intention to acquire such land.
Any whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “ Dainik
Bhaskar” and Rajasthan Patrika” dated 06.04.2025 under sub section (4) of Section 20A of the said ACT.
Any whereas, in 05 village objections were received and competent Authority have passed the orders
accordingly;
Any whereas, in pursuance of sub section 20E of the said Act, the competent Authority has submitted its
report to the Central Government.

Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in
the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed
hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
The following details shall be amended and substituted in (Hindi & English) in the 20 E notification no. 3389
