                Detailed Summary
            

            
By S.O. 4334(E) dated 5th August 2026, the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction Organization) declares, under sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 20E of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), that land specified in the annexed Schedule is acquired for and vests absolutely in the Central Government for the Special Railway Project "Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Doubling Project" in Balotra district, Rajasthan. This follows the Central Government's earlier intention notice S.O. 2207(E) dated 5th May 2026, issued under section 20A(1) of the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) and the Railways Act, 1989, the substance of which was published in "Rajasthan Patrika" and "Dainik Navjyoti" on 12th and 13th May 2026 respectively under section 20A(4). Objections received during the survey of the villages listed in the Schedule were disposed of by the Competent Authority, which then submitted its report under section 20E(1). The Schedule lists khasra parcels across eleven villages in Siwana and Samdari tehsils, Balotra district, Rajasthan — Ludrada, Maylawas, Mokalsar, Samdari Station, Deolali, Bamsin, Fulan, Baloo, Aadarsh Naya Deora, Paton Ka Bada-Ajeet and Dudo Ka Bada-Ajeet — totalling roughly 10.7 hectares of both government land (including a primary health centre, gram panchayat gochar land, roads and drains) and privately held khatedari land, with individual owners and castes listed against each parcel. NOTIFICATION
Jaipur, the 5th August, 2026
S.O. 4334(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of
Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organization), Notification number, S.O. 2207 (E) dated
05th May 2026 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 05th
May 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A
of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008 (11 of 2008) and Railway Act 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred
to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule
annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of
Special Railway Project, namely "Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Doubling Project of the District Balotra in the
state of Rajasthan.
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely
“Rajasthan Patrika” and “Dainik Navjyoti” dated 12.05.2026 & 13.05.2026 under sub section (4) of section
20A of the said Act;
And whereas, out of the surveys of the villages mentioned in the schedule annexed with this
notification, all the objections were received within the stipulated time period by Competent Authority and
accordingly, the same was disposed by Competent Authority.
And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority
has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the
powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare
that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified
in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances
