NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th January, 2026
S.O. 410(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 read with Section 8 of the Pre-conception and
Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994, the Central Government hereby makes the
following further amendment in the Notification No. S.O. 85 (E), dated 5th February, 1997, issued by Government of
India, in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, namely:
2. In the said notification, under heading "appointed under clause (f) of sub-section (2) of Section 7", for serial
numbers 18 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely -
