L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-23032026-271218 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 194] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MARCH 23, 2026/CHAITRA 2, 1948 MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd March, 2026 G.S.R. 200(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Police Service) Rules, 2003, namely: - 1. (1) These rules may be called the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Police Service) Amendment Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Note 2: The National Capital Territory of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Police Service) Rules, 2003 were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(i) vide number G.S.R.635(E), dated the 6th August, 2003 and subsequently amended vide number G.S.R.403(E), dated the 11th June, 2009, G.S.R.100(E), dated the 25th January, 2018 and G.S.R.435(E), dated the 8th June, 2022.
