Short title and commencement. — (1) This O rder may be called the Polyester Continuous Filament Fully Drawn Yarn (Quality Control) Order, 2023. (2) It shall come into force on the 05th day of October, 2023. (3) It shall apply to goods or article specified in column (1) of the Table below and shall not apply to goods or article meant for export. 2. Conformity to standards and compul sory use of Standard Mark — Goods or article specified in column (1) of the said Table shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard given in column (2) bearing the title of the Indian Standard in column (3) of the sai d Table and shall bear the Standar d Ma rk under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme -I of Schedule -II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018. 3. Certification and enforcement authority — In respect of the goods or article specified in column (1) of the said table, the Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and enforcing authority . 4. Penalty for contravention —Any person who cont ravenes the provisions of this O rder shall be punishable under the provisions of the said Act. Short title and commencement .—(1) This order may be called the Polyester Industrial Yarn (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2023. (2) It shall come into force on the d ate of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Polyester Industrial Yarn (Quality Control) Order , 2022, in paragraph 1, in sub -paragraph (3), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: — "Provided that nothing in this Order shall app ly to less than 500 (five hundred) deniers ” [F.
