This notification (No. 37/2026-Customs (N.T.), S.O. 1921(E), dated 15th April 2026), issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, exercises the power under sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) to amend Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated 3rd August 2001 (S.O. 748(E)), as last amended by Notification No. 35/2026-Customs (N.T.), dated 2nd April 2026 (S.O. 1733(E)). TABLE-1, TABLE-2 and TABLE-3 are substituted with revised values: under Table-1 (US$ per metric tonne), Crude Palm Oil at 1174, RBD Palm Oil at 1195, Other Palm Oil at 1185, Crude Palmolein at 1199, RBD Palmolein at 1202, Other Palmolein at 1201, Crude Soya bean Oil at 1252, and Brass Scrap at 6971; under Table-2, Gold at US$1544 per 10 grams and Silver at US$2509 per kilogram; and under Table-3, Areca nuts at US$9155 per metric tonne. Issued under file number F. No. 467/01/2026-Cus.V and signed by Kriti Pandey, Under Secretary, the notification takes effect from 16th April 2026.

S.O. 1921(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to do so, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated the 3rd August, 2001, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.
