Notification No. 74/2025-CUSTOMS (N.T.), S.O. 5195(E), issued on 14th November 2025 by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, under sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), amends Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated 3rd August 2001 (S.O. 748(E)), by substituting its three tariff-value tables. Table-1 fixes tariff values (US$ per metric tonne) at 1066 for Crude Palm Oil, 1084 for RBD Palm Oil, 1075 for other Palm Oil, 1088 for Crude Palmolein, 1091 for RBD Palmolein, 1090 for other Palmolein, 1159 for Crude Soya bean Oil, and 6163 for Brass Scrap (all grades). Table-2 fixes the tariff value of gold at US$1350 per 10 grams and silver at US$1739 per kilogram, covering gold/silver benefiting under serial numbers 194 and 195 of Notification No. 45/2025-Customs dated 24.10.2025, other silver forms under sub-heading 7106 92, and gold bars/coins/findings meeting specified purity. Table-3 leaves the tariff value of Areca nuts unchanged at US$7142 per metric ton. The amendment supersedes the values last set by Notification No. 72/2025-Customs (N.T.), dated 31st October 2025 (S.O. 4949(E)).

S.O. 5195(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to do so, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated the 3rd August, 2001, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.
