Notification in respect of Estate Officer, MECON Limited under Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-13052024-254181 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1889] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MAY 13, 2024/VAISAKHA 23, 1946 3016 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF STEEL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th May, 2024 S.O. 1982.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971) and in supersession of Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Steel, number S.O 4467(E), dated the 7th September, 2021 except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby appoints the officer mentioned in column (1) of the Table below, being an officer equivalent to the rank of gazetted officer of the Government of India, to be the estate officer for the purposes of the said Act, who shall exercise the powers conferred, and perform the duties imposed, on estate officer by or under the said Act, within the local limits of his jurisdiction in respect of public premises specified in column (2) of the said Table.
