CG-DL-E-13022026-270118 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) 1096 GI/2026 (1) MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) ORDER New Delhi, the 12th February, 2026 S.O. 777(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient in the public interest, after consulting the Bureau hereby makes the following amendments in the Quality Control Orders specified in column (2) to the extent specified in the corresponding entries in column (3), of the said Table, namely :- TABLE | SI No. | Title of Quality Control Order | Amendments | |---|---|---| | (1) | (2) | (3) | | 1. | Flame-Producing Lighters (Quality Control) Order, 2023 dated 5th July, 2023 | In the said Order, in paragraph-2, for sub-paragraph (2), the following shall be substituted, namely: - Provided that nothing in this order shall apply to goods or articles manufactured by an enterprise, registered under Udyam Portal of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, wherein the investment in plant and machinery or equipment at original cost does not exceed rupees one crore and the turnover do not exceed rupees five crore for the previous financial year as certified by a Chartered Accountant. | | 2. | Potable Water Bottles (Quality Control) Order, 2024 dated 5th March, 2024 | In the said Order, in paragraph-2, for the second proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely: -
