EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4208 ] NEW DELHI, MONDAY , OCTO BER 9, 2023/ ASVINA 17, 1945 CG-DL-E-09102023-249275 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDI A : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT (Department of Social Justice and Empowerment) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th October , 2023 S.O. 4379(E).— In exer cise of the powers conferred by sub -sections (1) and (2) of Section 29 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (25 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amend ment s to the notifi cation of the Government of India in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part –II, Section 3, Sub -section (ii), namely: - vide number S.O. 89(E), dat ed the 13th January, 2014. In the said notification, in paragraph B, under the heading 'In pursuance of clause (f) of sub -section (2) of section 29 of the Act': - (a) For item numbers (i) and (ii) and the entry relating thereto, the fol lowing item numbers a nd entries shall respectively be substituted, namely: - ―(i) Shri Sadashiv Kisan Lokhande, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) (ii) Shri Bhola Singh, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha)‖; (b) For item number (iii) and the entry relating t hereto, the following i tem number and entry shall be substituted, namely: - ―(iii) Shri Mithlesh Kumar, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha)‖.
