By S.O. 4339(E) dated 14th August, 2024, issued under sub-rule (4) of Rule 10 of the Official Languages (Use for Official Purposes of the Union) Rules, 1976 (as amended in 1987), WAPCOS Limited notified a list of 23 offices where more than 80% of staff have acquired working knowledge of Hindi, comprising WAPCOS Limited, Dehradun; ten offices of the National Water Development Agency (including at Chennai, Nasik, Nagpur, Lucknow, Patna, Bhuvaneshwar, Rajahmundry, Jhansi and Chhatarpur); seven offices of the Central Groundwater Board (including at Nava Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Jammu, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Belagavi and Vishakhapatnam); and five offices of the Central Water Commission (including at Silvassa, Himmatnagar, Kadana, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam); the notification, F.
