                Detailed Summary
            

            
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, through Notification S.O. 2694(E) dated 25th May, 2026, has declared the Government of India's intention to acquire the Right of User in land. This acquisition is deemed necessary in public interest for the transportation of natural gas originating from the Hazira-Vijaipur-Jagdishpur-GREP-Dahej-Vijaipur (HVJ-GREP-DVPL) Natural Gas pipeline at Vijaipur Terminal to the BPCL Bina Refinery in the State of Madhya Pradesh. GAIL (India) Limited is designated to lay this spur line. The declaration is made in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962). The Schedule annexed to the notification details the specific land parcels in Madhya Pradesh, Guna District, Raghogarh Tehsil, across villages including Bawadikhada (2.1332 Hect.), Dorana (6.9587 Hect.), Anandpur (3.1886 Hect.), Jaduriya (0.1628 Hect.), Kasba Raghogarh (0.1546 Hect.), Budhauriya (4.9992 Hect.), Khairai (2.9819 Hect.), and Lathya (2.8735 Hect.). Any person interested in the described land may object in writing to the acquisition of the Right of User within twenty-one days from the date of public availability of the notification copies, addressing the Competent Authority GAIL (India) Limited (Additional Collector, District - Guna, Madhya Pradesh). NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th May, 2026
S.O. 2694(E).—Whereas it appears to the Government of India that it is necessary in public interest that for
transportation of natural gas originating from Hazira-Vijaipur-Jagdishpur-GREP-Dahej-Vijaipur (HVJ-GREP-DVPL)
Natural Gas pipeline at Vijaipur Terminal to BPCL Bina Refinery in the State of Madhya Pradesh, a Pipeline should
be laid by GAIL (India) Limited.
And, whereas it appears to Government of India that for the purpose of laying the said pipeline, it is
necessary to acquire the Right of User in the land under which the said pipeline is proposed to be laid, and which is
described in the Schedule annexed to this notification.
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the petroleum and Minerals
Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962, (50 of 1962) Government of India hereby declares its
intention to acquire the Right of User therein.

Gazette of India are made available to the general public, object in writing to the acquisition of the Right of User
therein for laying of the pipeline under the land to Competent Authority GAIL (India) Limited, State of Madhya
Pradesh (Address: Additional Collector, District - Guna, Madhya Pradesh).
