By S.O. 2851(E) dated 3rd June 2026, the Ministry of Power, Government of India, records that M/s Adani Renewable Energy 8 Limited (ARE8L), registered office at Adani Corporate House, Shantigram, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, applied for authorisation under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the transmission scheme 'Transmission System for Providing Connectivity to Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited for its 115 MW Solar Power Project in Kachchh, Gujarat', for which prior approval under section 68(1) of the Act was granted vide letter No. 25-17/92/2025-PG dated 03.10.2025. Public notice of the scheme was published in Gujarat Samachar (Gujarati), Rajasthan Patrika (Hindi) and The Indian Express (English), all dated 04.12.2025, and in the Weekly Gazette of India dated 03.01.2026; the applicant's affidavit dated 22.05.2026 declared no objections were received. The applicant also submitted an undertaking dated 21.05.2026 that the proposed route lies outside the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) Priority Area of Rajasthan and Gujarat as referred to in the Supreme Court's judgment dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019, and undertook to comply with that judgment and any subsequent directions. The Ministry accordingly confers on the applicant, for 25 years, the powers of a telegraph authority under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 to place telegraph lines and posts, for the overhead line from the ARE8L generating switchyard (village Ludbay, Taluka Nakhatrana, District Kachchh, Gujarat) to Bhuj-II PS, a 220 kV single-circuit line on double-circuit tower, passing through named villages in Nakhatrana and Abdasa talukas of Kachchh district, Gujarat. Conditions attached include obtaining consent of local bodies, Railways and Highway authorities before erection; compliance with Appropriate Commission regulations under the Electricity Act, 2003; operation only after approval of the Electrical Inspector or Chief Electrical Inspector; submission of clearances (Civil Aviation, Defence, etc.) to the Central Electricity Authority; and compliance with Supreme Court directions where the route falls within the Revised GIB area. CG-DL-E-04062026-273143 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) 4017 GI/2026 (1) MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 3rd June, 2026 S.O. 2851(E).— Whereas M/s Adani Renewable Energy 8 Limited (ARE8L), the applicant with its registered Office at Adani Corporate House, Shantigram, Nr. Vaishno Devi Circle, S. G. Highway, Khodiyar, Ahmedabad- 382421, Gujarat, India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under the transmission scheme "Transmission System for Providing Connectivity to Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited for its 115 MW Solar Power Project in Kachchh, Gujarat” And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/92/2025-PG dated 03.10.2025 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the transmission scheme "Transmission System for Providing Connectivity to Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited for its 115 MW Solar Power Project in Kachchh, Gujarat” M/s Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers Gujarat Samachar (Gujrati) dated 04.12.2025, Rajasthan Patrika (Hindi) dated 04.12.2025, The Indian Express (English) dated 04.12.2025, and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 03.01.2026 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 Months from the date of publication. Subsequently M/s Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 22.05.2026 declaring that no observation/representation was received within 2 Months from the date of Publication of public notice. M/s Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited has submitted an Undertaking dated 21.05.2026 stating that the route of the proposed overhead transmission line(s) is located outside the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) Priority Area of Rajasthan and Gujarat, as referred to in the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019; the applicant has further undertaken to comply with all directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court as contained in the said judgment as well as with any subsequent directions issued by the competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, and has also stated that the transmission line alignment has been optimized, in such a way that they share maximum common stretch to the extent possible. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme "Transmission System for Providing Connectivity to Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited for its 115 MW Solar Power Project in Kachchh, Gujarat”. The following overhead line is covered under this scheme: • ARE8L (Generating switchyard situated in village Ludbay, Taluka Nakhatrana, District Kachchh, Gujarat) – Bhuj-II PS 220kV S/c line (On D/c Tower). The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local bodies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. vi. M/s Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection. vii. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) area, the applicant has to comply with the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in its order dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019 and any other directions given by competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by Hon’ble Supreme Court [F.
