4167 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2737] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY , JUNE 30, 2023/ASHADHA 9, 194 5 CG-DL-E-03072023-246961 1 2 3 4 5 6 Total 3.2015 [फा. सं. 1/3A2 ] MINISTRY OF ROAD TR ANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th June, 2023 S.O. 2860(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Gover nment, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the lands, the brief description of which is given in the S chedule below, is required for building (Widening/Four laning/Six Laning etc), maintenance, management and operation of proposed Bangalore - Chennai Expressway in the stretch of lands from Design Chainage Km. 0/000 to Km . 11/450 in the Districts of Bangalo re Rural in the State of Karnataka, hereby declares its intention to acquire such lands. Any person interested in the said lands may, within twenty -one days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of su ch lands for the aforesaid purpose under sub -section (1) of section 3C of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, Special Land Acquisition Officer & Competent Authority, Bangalore - Chennai Expressway, No. 678/3 , Neerubhavi Kempanna Layout, Hebbal, Bangalore 560 024, Karnataka, in writing, and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub -section (2) of section 3C of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and other details of the lands covered under this Notification are available and can be inspected by the interested persons at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
