The declaration of intent to acquire was originally issued under Section 3A(1) as S.O. 1053(E) dated 27 February 2026, with its substance published in "Business Standard" and "Kesari" on 10 March 2026 under Section 3A(3). The Competent Authority received objections filed under Section 3-C and settled them appropriately before submitting its report under Section 3D(1). The notification declares that, on publication in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule -- totalling 0.3537 hectares in Agar village, Junnar taluk -- vests absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances. CG-DL-E-25042026-272091 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) 2915 GI/2026 (1) MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 22nd April, 2026 S.O. 2068(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Department of Road Transport and Highways number S.O.1053(E) dated 27th Ferbruary 2026 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/2-Laning with paved shoulder etc.), maintenance, management and operation of National Highway 61 SPUR in the stretch of land Km 13.880 to km 69.820 Junnar-Ghodegaon-Taleghar section Bankarphata-Junnar-Taleghar road in the district of Pune in the state of Maharashtra. And whereas the substance of the said notification S.O.1053(E) dated 27th Ferbruary 2026 has been published in “Business Standard” and “Kesari” Both Dated 10/03/2026 ; under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas the Competent Authority has received objections filed under Section 3-C, considered and settled the same appropriately; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
