Detailed Summary

Under S.O. 2265(E) dated 12th June 2024, issued under section 11 of the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways entrusts the Seldoh (junction with NH-53) to the start of the approach road of the ROB near Sindi Railway Station (Sindi Dry Port) section of National Highway 353I in the State of Maharashtra, from Km. 39.200 to Km. 44.600, to the National Highways Authority of India. Under S.O. 2266(E), also dated 12th June 2024 and issued under section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government further amends notification S.O. 1096(E) dated 4th August 2005 (last amended by S.O. 1335(E) dated 11th March 2024), substituting serial number 14 of the Schedule to list the National Highways, or portions thereof, situated within Maharashtra (including Nos. 48, 50, 52, 53, 60, 61, 63, 65, 66, 160, and numerous other numbered and 'New NH' stretches, with the newly excluded NH-353I section and other specified exclusions) for which the State Government of Maharashtra is responsible for execution of works.
