CG-DL-E-08082026-275300 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) 6112 GI/2026 (1) MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th August, 2026 S.O. 4390(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works pertaining to each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the condition that the State Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely:- In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 17 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - Table | (1) | (2) | (3) | |---|---|---| | “17 | So much of National Highways No.44A, No. 54 [excluding from km 8.00 to km 380.00 (Aizwal- Tuipang Section) and Km. 42.00 to Km. 164.00 (Vairengte- Sairang section)],No.54B, New NH No. 6 (including spur from Bairabi to Mamit) [excluding from Km. 0.00 to Km. 62.20 Seling to Dulte section and from Km. 62.200 to Km. 150.000 (Dulte to Champhai section)], No. 102B [excluding from Km. 246.00 to Km 124.00 (Kawlkulh – Tuivai section)],302[excluding from Km. 0.00 to Km. 115.00 (Lunglei- Tlabung- Kawrpuichhuah section)] and New NH-306A as are situated within the State of Mizoram. | State Government of Mizoram | [F.
