The authorized line - from the ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited generation switchyard at Jaulala village, Patoda taluk, Beed district, to the Kallam PS via a 220 kV S/c line - passes through villages in Patoda, Ashti, Beed and Kaij taluks of Beed district, and Bhoom, Washi and Kalamb taluks of Osmanabad district, Maharashtra. The 25-year authorization is subject to standard conditions including consent from local bodies, Railways and Highway authorities, compliance with Appropriate Commission regulations, Electrical Inspector approval before operation, submission of Civil Aviation/Defence clearances, and compliance with Supreme Court orders in Petition No. 838 of 2019 where the route falls in Great Indian Bustard potential or priority zones. CG-DL-E-08082024-256189 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) 4964 GI/2024 (1) MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 31st July, 2024 S.O. 3193(E).— Whereas M/s ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited having its registered address 138, Ansal Chambers- II, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi -110066, India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under “Installation of the dedicated overhead transmission line included in the transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited for its 150 MW (117 MW + 33 MW) Wind Power Project in Beed Maharashtra”. And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/5/2023-PG dated 28.06.2023 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under “Installation of the dedicated overhead transmission line included in the transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited for its 150 MW (117 MW + 33 MW) Wind Power Project in Beed, Maharashtra”. M/s ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers The Times of India (in English) dated 15.08.2023, Lokmat Samachar (in Hindi) dated 15.08.2023, Deshonnati (in Marathi) dated 14.08.2023, Punya Nagari (in Marathi) dated 14.08.2023 and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 21.10.2023 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 Months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 28.03.2024 declaring that no observation/representation was received within 2 months from the date of Publication in the official gazette of Government of India. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under “Installation of the dedicated overhead transmission line included in the transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited for its 150 MW (117 MW + 33 MW) Wind Power Project in Beed Maharashtra”. The following overhead line is covered under this scheme: 1. ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited (RG(MO)PL) - Kallam PS 220 kV S/c line (The generation switchyard is situated in village - Jaulala, Taluk – Patoda, District – Beed, Maharashtra). The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local bodies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. vi. M/s ReNew Green (MHP ONE) Private Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection. vii. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the Great Indian Bustard (GIB) potential zone (or priority zone), the applicant has to comply with the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the petition No.838 of 2019 regarding Great Indian Bustard (GIB) case, and the directions of the technical/expert committee constituted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in this regard.
