CG-DL-E-02042025-262230 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) 2303 GI/2025 (1) MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th March, 2025 S.O. 1564(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works pertaining to each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the condition that the State Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely:- In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 8 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - TABLE | (1) | (2) | (3) | |---|---|---| | “8 | So much of National Highways No. 21A ,No.22 [excluding from Km. 5.735 to Km. 10.890 and from Km. 40.000 to km. 62.200 (Punjab/Haryana Border- Haryana/Himachal Border)], No.64, No.65 {excluding from km. 5.000 to km 241.580 (Ambala-Kaithal-Narwana-Hissar- Hayana/Rajasthan Border)}, No.71 [excluding from km.239.00 to km. 450.800 (Punjab/Haryana border- Jind-Rohtak Bawal section)], No. 71A [excluding from km.0.000 to km.80.858 (Rohtak-Panipat), No. 71B, No.73 [excluding From km.70.890 to km.179.285 (Uttar Pradesh/Haryana Border- Yamunanagar-Saha- Barwala- Panchkula)], new NH No. 148B [excluding from Km 4.90 to Km. 94.60 and from Km.126.00 to Km. 197.27 (Rajasthan/Haryana border- Bhiwani-Hansi-Barwala section)], new NH No. 248A [excluding from Km. 2.41 to Km 24.536 (Gurgaon Sohna Section)], new NH No. 352R, new NH No. 703 [excluding From Km. 10.08 to Km. 29.00 (Punjab border-Sirsa Section)] and Extension of new No. NH 709 as are situated within the State of Haryana. | State Government of Haryana” | [F.
