The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956, authorizes specified officers as competent authorities to perform functions under the said Act for the development of the Panipat-Gorakhpur High-Speed access-controlled Corridor in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
